Springfield Primary School Admissions

Whether your child is due to start school in September for the first time, or you have moved into the area and are looking for a school place mid-year, applications for admission must be made to West Berkshire Council admissions department. Reception Stage tours for prospective parents - For September 2025 admissions into Reception, we will be holding prospective parent tours on the following days.

Nursery 

The exception to this is our 15hrs/30hrs nursery class. The school deal with the allocation of the these places. We have an intake in September, January and April each year for 3 year olds.  We run two part-time sessions, 8.45-11.45am and 12.15-3.15pm, for children eligible for 15 hrs.

The children who are eligible for 30 hours arrive at 8.40am leaving at 3.15pm and bring a packed lunch. If required they can stay for Breakfast Club and After School Club, at an additional cost, if we have availability.
