summer Term in EYFS

We begin the Summer term in Foundation with a focus on growing seeds and plants. We have followed this by looking at human growth and learning about the human life sycle and what we need to grow heathily.

We also look forward to reading the traditional tale ‘The Little Red Hen' and enjoying lots of different activities based on this story. During the term we will follow the children's interests including a pirate topic which we know the children are keen to explore.

Other Information

We will be sending library books home each week on a Tuesday for you to share, enjoy and discuss together at home.

Reading books for Tawny and Snowy Owls will be changed when they have been read and the home-link book signed.. They are sent home on Wednesdays.

Sometimes we’ll ask the children to research a topic at home and share what they have found out with their peers in school.

If you have any questions or concerns please do speak to a member of the Foundation team and we’ll do our best to help.

We look forward to a busy and fun-filled term.
